The 352nd Combat Support Hospital out of Camp Parks, CA pose for a photo with medical personnel in the Guatemalan military on July 17, 2019 in Huehuetenango, Guatemala during exercise Beyond the Horizon 2019 after they demostrated how US troops pack their trauma bags. These trauma bags carry life-saving interventions and are being reviewed so the Guatemalan military can replicate the equipment being used and the way the equipment is packed within the bag. The technique used to pack the equipment is important because the most common injuries and most life threatening injuries have the easiest access, while equipment for lessor injuries is nestled inside.
