GROTON, Conn. (July 25, 2019) – Basic Enlisted Submarine School (BESS) Class USS Jack (SSN 605) gather for a group photo after a graduation ceremony at Naval Submarine Base New London. BESS is an eight-week introduction to the basic theory, construction and operation of nuclear-powered submarines.
