ANNAPOLIS, Md. (July 26, 2019) Sideboys render honors as Vice Adm. Sean S. Buck is piped ashore during a change of command ceremony in which he properly relieved Vice Adm. Walter E. "Ted" Carter Jr. to become the 63rd Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
