The 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade commander Col. T.J. Jamison of Broken Arrow, Okla., presents Chief Warrant Officer 5 Robert Shober of Fayetteville, N.C., the bronze Order of Saint Michael medal. Shober was recognized for his career-long contributions to Army aviation which stood out in the eyes of the his seniors, peers, and subordinates. To receive the award, individuals must also demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and moral character, display an outstanding degree of professional competence, and serve the U.S. Army aviation or civilian aviation community with distinction. The Army Aviation Association of America sponsors the award.
