This is rare footage of the April 17-18, 1942 Doolittle Raid and shows a U.S. Navy Douglas SBD Dauntless dropping a bean-bag message on the flight deck of USS Enterprise (CV 6) while crewmembers dart to catch the message to deliver it up to the ship’s bridge.
