FORT BLISS, Texas – The 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division Target Mensuration Only Cadre included (from left to right) Chief Warrant Officer 2 Michael Finan, counter-fire officer, for 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division; Sgt. 1st Class Brock Benson, TMO evaluator with U.S. Army Multi-Domain Targeting Center; Chief Warrant Officer 3 Calvin Cameron, targeting officer for 3rd ABCT, 1st AD; Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joseph Kenny, field artillery intelligence officer for 3rd ABCT, 1st AD; and Chief Warrant Officer 4 Steven Fernandez, targeting officer for 1st AD conducted the TMO course certifying 12 Soldiers at Fort Bliss, Texas, Aug. 11-16. Incorporating TMO into a unit training plan allows ground force commanders to employ Army, joint, and multinational forces accurately and effectively while mitigating collateral damage during real-world operations, which increases a unit’s readiness and lethality if called upon to respond to a contingency.
