Sgt. Peter Sztaravics, 1106th Aviation Group, cleans and inspects compressor blades on an AH-64E Apache helicopter engine during 500 hour Phase inspection at Camp Taji, Iraq, Aug. 28, 2019. Aviation maintainers are allowed to adjust their uniforms to adapt to the challenging environmental conditions as long as safety is not compromised. The 1106th Aviation Group, California Army National Guard, is organized as a theater aviation support maintenance group, capable of providing depot level maintenance to U.S. Army aircraft, and is deployed Kuwait providing support across the Middle East.
