FORT BENNING, Ga. – From left, Brig. Gen. Patrick D. Frank, commanding general of the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk; Col. Joseph E. Hilbert, commander of the Joint Multinational Readiness Center at Hohenfels, Germany; and Col. Scott Woodward, commander of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, form a panel of military experts discussing trends related to the U.S. Army’s Combat Training Centers Sept. 11 here during the 2019 Maneuver Warfighter Conference at McGinnis-Wickam Hall. Hosted the Maneuver Center of Excellence, the conference runs Sept. 10-12 and brings together key military professionals to explore issues, ideas and trends related to the Army’s maneuver force. Combat Training Centers provide fighting units with rigorous training that mimics the circumstances of actual combat.
