Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Surface Forces delegation poses for a group photo with Rear Adm. Scott Robertson, commander Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) following a successful visit September 23, 2019. The visit provided the delegation with a better understanding of SMWDC’s role in maintaining Aegis readiness in the Surface Force, and was an opportunity to build on existing relationships to facilitate greater exchange between the RAN and the U.S. Navy on requirements and tactics development for the in-service fleet.
