Sailors aboard amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1) participate in a well deck operation with the Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS). The INLS is a 249-foot floating dock allowing for a more proficient system of moving equipment from ship to shore in places where traditional port facilities may be damaged, insufficient or absent.
