Staff members from the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, sailors assigned to the Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG-64) and contractors move and reposition a large model of the USS Newport News (CA-148) in the museum’s gallery. The model, along with other artifacts, dioramas, graphics panels and interactive displays, is part of the museum’s new exhibit “The Ten Thousand Day War at Sea: the US Navy in Vietnam, 1950-1975”.
