JACKSONVILLE, Florida - (September 26, 2019) Student inspectors examine the exterior of a cottage for structural damage or deficiencies as part of their Certified Navy Housing Inspector Level 1 certification on Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax), Sept. 26, 2019. The pilot course, “Conducting Navy Housing Inspections,” was offered by Commander, Navy Installations Command’s (CNIC) Housing Learning Center to equip inspectors with the knowledge and skills needed to provide high quality housing services to Sailors and their families. Many of the inaugural students are seasoned inspectors chosen to provide feedback to help instructors evaluate and improve the course.
