Submitted photo by Elijah Palmer. Sailors assigned to the Ticonderoga-Class Guided Missile Cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG-64) take part in a unique COMREL experience as they lift a heavy model of the Des-Moines Class Heavy Cruiser USS Newport News (CA-148) up a flight of stairs and into the gallery of the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The massive model is part of a larger exhibit which tells the story of the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and is scheduled to open on October 9, 2019 at 10am.
