191004-N-SS350-1015 ARABIAN SEA (Oct 4, 2019) Air-Traffic Controller 2nd Class Garrick Britt, assigned to the “Grandmasters” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46, secures an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter to the flight deck aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96). Bainbridge is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
