Supporters display an oversized get-well card as they gather around Staff Sgt. Brian Williams May 3 at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Md. The card bears hundreds of signatures and well-wishes from Williams' home station family at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Williams, a military working dog handler from JB MDL's 87th Security Forces Squadron, was deployed to Afghanistan where he was the victim of an improvised explosive device attack April 25. Williams suffered serious injuries when the IED detonated while he was on a mission outside Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan. Visitors include: (from left) Senior Master Sgt.
