Elham Fanous was seated in front the plaques with names of fallen West Point graduates who passed away in combat and played a song that is very personal and meaningful to him called, “My death may arrive one day.” He shared that performing as an Afghan musician for veterans who died in his country is difficult to bear. “It is very unfortunate, and I wish it did not happen, but I am so grateful and cannot thank them enough. I dedicate my music career to these veterans, and it is a pleasure to be invited here to do something on behalf of my country and people.” Photo my Pointer View Staff Writer Michelle Schneider
