The Unit Movement Officer for 4th Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Lt. Quanzel Caston, examines M1A2 Abrams tanks as they are positioned for shipment throughout Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve at the Port of Vlissingen, Netherlands, Oct. 11, 2019. The first of three cargo ships arrived in Vlissingen on Oct. 10, 2019, and the equipment was unloaded the following day. In total 2nd ABCT will bring 85 tanks, 120 Bradley fighting vehicles, 15 Paladins, 500 tracked vehicles, 1200 wheeled vehicles and pieces of equipment and 300 trailers into Europe to display evidence of U.S. Army Europe’s ability to facilitate the quick assembly of forces to deter aggression.
