Armin Besenfelder, Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, gives a tour of the vehicle staging area to Soldiers from the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Oct. 14, 2019 at the Port of Riga, Latvia. The 2-1 CD, along with other incoming units, are preparing to receive equipment through various Ports across the European theater in support of Atlantic Resolve. The SDDC will help offload and stage over 300 pieces of equipment in the Port of Riga, which is the largest amount of equipment to be received at the port. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
