SULU SEA (Oct. 18, 2019) - U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Reginald Reynolds, combat systems officer aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Legend-class cutter USCGC Stratton (WMSL 752), trains with Philippine Navy Sailors assigned to Philippine Naval Forces West during a visit, board, search and seizure drill aboard Military Sealift Command's Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport USNS Millinocket (T-EPF 3) as part of Maritime Training Activity (MTA) Sama Sama 2019. Now in its third year, MTA Sama Sama includes forces from Japan, Philippines and the United States, and is designed to promote regional security cooperation, maintain and strengthen maritime partnerships, and enhance maritime interoperability.
