Cpt. Marie Boone, critical care nurse assigned to the 586th Field Hospital, and Cpt. Mieke Carifee, a critical care nurse assigned to the 175th Surgical Detachment, set up a suction device in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the field hospital at Sierra Army Depot, California, during the United States Forces Command Medical Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE), Oct. 25, 2019. The ICU will be one of many medical services provided in the 148-bed field hospital during this EDRE.
