U.S. Army Soldiers with the South Carolina National Guard conduct a Basic Fitness Test and a combat swim test as part of the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB) March 15, 2019, at McCrady Training Center in Eastover, South Carolina and at the University of South Carolina Aquatic Center in Columbia, South Carolina. The GAFPB is an event conducted to build camaraderie among fellow service members, enhance physical fitness and tactical skills proficiency, and bolster international Armed Forces collaboration with the German Armed Forces Command.
