191026-N-NT769-002 MINNEAPOLIS (Oct. 26, 2019) - Sailors assigned to Navy Reserve, Commander Naval Forces Japan Headquarters (NR CNFJ HQ) participate in a mock Commander's Update Brief during a mini-exercise as part of Far-East Security Symposium 2019. The four-day event is conducted annually by NR CNFJ HQ to prepare Sailors for watch-standing duties at installations across the Japan region during joint and bilateral exercises, as well as during humanitarian or military crises in the region. NR CNFJ HQ, based at Navy Operational Support Center Minneapolis, is a 171-member Navy Reserve unit supporting the U.S. Navy's shore installations in Japan, Singapore and Diego Garcia.
