A crew member assigned to the 28th Bomb Wing, Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., conducts pre-flight checks prior to boarding a B-1B Lancer scheduled to fly a Bomber Task Force mission in the U.S. Central Command area of operations, Oct. 24, 2019. The B-1 can rapidly deliver massive quantities of precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary. Bomber missions demonstrate the credibility of our forces to address a globe security environment that is more diverse and uncertain than at any other time in our history.
