Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Marines apply a waterproofing solution to a wooden bridge during a Single Marine Program (SMP) volunteer event at Fort Macon State Park, North Carolina, Sept. 27, 2019. The program helps the air station maintain a strong relationship with the surrounding communities by offering volunteer events for service members to help rebuild and give back. The primary goal of the SMP is to maintain and improve the quality of life on base for Marines and Sailors. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Christian J. Lopez)
