U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kendall Hilburn, a light armored vehicle technician with the commanding general’s JUMP Platoon, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV), poses for a photograph at Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Oct. 26, 2019. Hilburn, a Pleasanton, Texas native, studied natural gas engineering for one and a half years prior to joining the Marine Corps. He joined the Marine Corps in hopes of a change in scenery and adventure, and has now served over a year and a half. Hilburn and the JUMP Platoon will be providing security and transportation for the commanding general during MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20.
