U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. PJ Croom, a Marine Air Ground Task Force intelligence officer, and Cpl. Courtney Garza, an intelligence specialist, both with Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV), give an intelligence preparation battle space brief alongside a MQ-1C Grey Eagle to U.S. Army Soldiers with 229 Bravo, Aviation Regiment at the Strategic Expeditionary Landing Field, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Oct. 28, 2019. The brief ensures the Marines and Soldiers working with the unmanned aircraft vehicles understand the probable combat actions and possible maneuvers of the adversary force in the battle space during the execution of MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20. The integration of the Grey Eagle into MWX will give 2d MARDIV the opportunity to exercise joint capabilities that would be critical force multipliers for 2d MARDIV against a real-world peer adversary. MWX is set to be 2d MARDIV’s largest operation in decades. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Jesse Carter-Powell)
