Lt. Col. Theodore Hanger, Commander of the 2nd Battalion, 134th Infantry Regiment, embraces his son, Koen, 11, after completing his first jump as the new commander of the unit at the Husker Drop Zone near Yutan, Nebraska on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019.
The newly activated 2nd Battalion, 134th Infantry Regiment will receive personnel reassigned from other units in the state, as well as new recruits and Soldiers who have recently completed basic and advanced individual training.
