The Nebraska Army National Guard conducted an activation ceremony for its new infantry unit followed by an airborne training exercise, Nov. 2, at the Husker Drop Zone near Yutan. The newly activated 2nd Battalion, 134th Infantry Regiment will receive personnel reassigned from other units in the state, as well as new recruits and Soldiers who have recently completed basic and advanced individual training.
