U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Michael Brown II, 17th Special Operations Squadron loadmaster, performs preflight inspections on a MC-130J Commando II Nov. 4, 2019, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Preflight checks are performed as a final check to ensure the integrity of the aircraft and ensure all flight systems are operational.
