U.S. Air Force Capt. Colin Swanson, 17th Special Operations Squadron pilot, flies an MC-130J Nov. 4, 2019, in the INDO-Pacific Command area of responsibility. The MC-130J primarily flies missions at night to reduce the probability of visual acquisition and intercept by airborne threats.
