Retired Brigadier General Patrick Alesia president of the 42nd Rainbow Division Association and Staff Sgt. Colin Stewart, the readiness noncommissioned officer for Alpha Company 1st Battalion 69th Infantry, New York Army National Guard render a salute while Taps is played after placing a wreath at the Rainbow Division Memorial in Garden City, New York, on Nov. 9, 2019. Garden City was once Camp Mills where the division was organized in 1917. The Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation provides wreaths to be laid at locations of historical significance to the 42nd Infantry Division on veterans day.
