Sailors attached to the Precommissioning Unit (PCU) George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) kick-off their Adopt-a-School program with Newsome Park Elementary School in Newport News, Va., by meeting and greeting students on the first day of school, Sept. 4. More than 30 PCU Bush Sailors spent the morning at the school, and throughout the school year PCU Bush Sailors will mentor, teach, and read to the students.
