PEARL HARBOR, HI (20 November 2019) - Sailors from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center toured the USS America (LHA-6) meteorology and oceanography (METOC) spaces and were briefed on the Naval Oceanography community's impact to air and maritime operations. USS America was inport Pearl Harbor while making the transit to homeport shift to Sasebo, Japan.
