U.S. Army Spc. Ian Nelson and Spc. Christopher Polidan, 3rd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Battalion, Michigan Army National Guard, receive recognition for superior airmanship for over 1000 incident-free driving hours during a recent safety stand-down at the Grand Ledge Aviation Readiness Center, Grand Ledge, Michigan, Dec. 7, 2019. During the safety stand-down, Soldiers were recognized for superior accomplishments such as incident-free flying and driving hours. The safety stand-down conducted training that protects and preserves personnel and property against loss and promotes risk mitigation in a safe and healthful workplace.
