The pharmacy department at U.S. Army Medical Activity (MEDDAC) -Bavaria was awarded High Reliability Award,—Patient Safety Category, at the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS) Annual Meeting on December 5, 2019, at the 2019 AMSUS Annual Meeting. Richard Juneau., MEDDAC Bavaria polypharmacy pharmacist, received the award for the pharmacy. The AMSUS Annual Meeting is for military healthcare professionals and leaders to improve the effectiveness, cohesiveness, and esprit de corps of the federal healthcare services.
