Army Maj. Gen. Stephen Farmen, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, visited Military Ocean Terminal Concord, Calif., on Dec. 9, 2019, to inspect military construction projects at the strategic Department of Defense port.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Pacific Division commander Brig. Gen. Kim Colloton, and Col. James Handura, USACE Sacramento District commander, joined Farmen to discuss the status of district construction projects currently being built at MOTCO. The leaders visited the largest ongoing project at the base, the repair and modernization of Wharf 2, which will enhance its efficiency, safety and capability.
