Army Maj. Gen. Stephen Farmen, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, tours Military Ocean Terminal Concord, Calif., on Dec. 9, 2019. Farmen inspected military construction projects at the strategic Department of Defense port during his 1-day visit.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Pacific Division commander Brig. Gen. Kim Colloton, and Col. James Handura, USACE Sacramento District commander, joined Farmen to discuss the status of district construction projects currently being built at MOTCO. The leaders visited the largest ongoing project at the base, the repair and modernization of Wharf 2, which will enhance its efficiency, safety and capability.
