PHILADELPHIA – Rowan University students and faculty toured Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) test sites and labs on Oct. 24, 2019 during a kick-off for the third year of a Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC) research grant. During the tour, NSWCPD’s Applied Superconductivity team leader and a Rowan alumnus, Dr. Jacob Kephart (center), highlighted the Command’s High Temperature Superconducting lab which conducts similar research to Rowan’s project.
