The Annual Air Force Ball program cover/poster was used to advertise the annual ball but also used on over 4k programs and digital slides. The design localized the Air Force Ball to the 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base. The globe symbolized the wing’s global mission today and throughout history while the lightning bolts symbolize the reconnaissance missions. The left and right flanks of the layout showcase the ancestral heritage of the 55th Fighter Group while the other focuses on the Cold War efforts throughout the second half of the 20th Century. The top portion plays off the part of the slogan ‘Inspiring the Future’ with our current aircraft and Airman. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Josh Plueger)
