Sgt. Travis C. Burch, a member of the 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion out of Tampa, Fla., demonstrates priming a M777A2 medium towed howitzer during a static display in Public Square in downtown Cleveland, June 11. The weapon joined other tactical ground vehicles and aircraft staged throughout the city in support of Marine Week Cleveland June 11-17. Even before Marine Week officially started, passers-by on their way to work were already examining the display in the heart of downtown. “I think it’s such a nice thing, to show us what they do for us, how they protect us and the liberties that we hold so dear,” said Kim Dennis, a Cleveland native.
