This photo, taken in 1939, shows Wing Commander Richard Kellett, 149 Squadron pilot, during his time at RAF Mildenhall, England, during World War II. Kellett was the lead pilot in a combined force of Wellington bombers from RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell and RAF Honington, which carried out daylight bombing raids during the Battle of Heligoland Bight, Germany, Dec. 18, 1939.
