Corporal Nathaniel Houck, a reconnaissance Marine with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, from Oceanside, Calif., kisses and holds his three-day-old son Ryan for the first time during the company's homecoming at Camp Margarita, June 9. Approximately 90 Marines and sailors with the company returned following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan. The rest of the battalion returned home in March due to the drawdown of coalition forces, while Company B remained behind to complete the battalion's mission in support of ISAF efforts.
