Sergeant Stephen O'Connor, an intelligence specialist with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, shares a laugh with his 19-month-old son Jackson during the company's homecoming at Camp Margarita, June 9. O'Connor, from Denver, and approximately 90 Marines and sailors with the company returned following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan. The rest of the battalion returned home in March due to the drawdown of coalition forces, while Company B remained behind to complete the battalion's mission in support of ISAF efforts.
