Culinary specialists with the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division compete for the 407th Army Field Support Battalion Philip A. Connelly Garrison Award at Fort Bliss, Texas, June 13, 2019. The personnel competed and won against other dining facilities at the U.S. Army Forces Command level and are now scheduled to compete at the Department of the Army level.
The Philip A. Connelly program is a food service competition facilitated by the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence, headquartered at Fort Lee, Virginia, in coordination with the Department of the Army and the National Restaurant Association.
