Culinary specialists with the 501st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division are presented with their trophies for winning the 407th Army Field Support Battalion Philip A. Connelly Garrison Award at Fort Bliss, Texas, January 8, 2020. The personnel competed against other dining facilities at the U.S. Army Forces Command level and are now scheduled to compete at the Department of the Army level.
The Philip A. Connelly program is a food service competition facilitated by the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence, headquartered at Fort Lee, Virginia, in coordination with the Department of the Army and the National Restaurant Association.
