NORFOLK (Jan. 10, 2020) Lt. Joseph Dejunco, from Atlanta, Georgia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, trains on a flight deck virtual-reality simulation trainer in the Carrier-Advanced Reconfigurable Training System (C-ARTS) located at Naval Station Norfolk. C-ARTS is used by Sailors assigned to the Ford to increase their knowledge and understanding of vital equipment and systems for the first-in-class carrier.
