ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Jan. 9, 2020) A U.S. Naval Academy Midshipman conducts a simulated T-6B Texan II flight on a newly installed virtual reality trainer device at the U.S. Naval Academy during Aviation Selection Night at Dahlgren Hall. In a partnership with Chief of Naval Air Training and Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, the trainers will give Midshipmen selected for aviation programs an opportunity to gain proficiency in T-6B procedures before arriving at flight school. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
