SAN DIEGO (Oct 25, 2019) Building 14 in 1919 and again in 2019. The distinct architecture of Building 14 seen today is the original 1918 Navy Bureau of Yards and Docks design. The architect, Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue went on to influence similar structures at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Balboa Hospital and Camp Pendleton, but most famously, he designed much of Balboa Park for the Panama-California Exposition of 1911-1915.
