3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment is a regular force light infantry battalion of the Canadian Forces. As of 2011, 3 RCR was designated Canada's first airmobile battalion. The 3 RCR will be working with the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division and will go through the premier crucible with lethal and non-lethal scenarios in the most complex environments.
