ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 18, 2020) A T-45 Goshawk, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, transits on USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) flight deck as an MH-60S Sea Hawk Helicopter, assigned to the "Tridents" of Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) 9 prepares to take off. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
